A Foundation Built on Care

Stichting ABO (Aruba Bevolkingsonderzoek) is Aruba's national foundation for cancer screening. We exist to make early detection accessible, understandable, and comfortable for every member of our island community.

Our three programs — BOB, BOCA, and CORESA — are designed to catch cancer at its earliest stages, when treatment is most effective. We believe knowledge is power, and screening is an act of self-care.

Who is eligible for screening?
Eligibility depends on the program. BOB is for women aged 45–75, BOCA is for women, and CORESA is for both women and men. You will receive a personal invitation when it is your turn.
Is screening free?
Yes, all ABO screening programs are offered free of charge to eligible residents of Aruba.
What happens if something is found?
If your results show anything unusual, our team will contact you personally and guide you through the next steps. You will never be left without support.
Does it hurt?
Most screenings are quick and cause little to no discomfort. Our team is trained to make you feel as comfortable as possible.
